Sure, it doesn't fit the cliche romance novel picture but finding a partner is not the problem. On the other hand, it is very rare for women to be attracted to shorter men. I don't mean those who "put up with" his lack in height if he "makes up for it" with other qualities like it's a flaw or a disability. Try finding a woman who literally likes a man to be shorter than her. If you want to see examples of challenges of height, ask short men what their lives are like. And it's not just finding a partner. Life among men and in the professional world is also a lot more difficult. And then they even get blamed for "overcompensating". Even she says she'd not marry what she calls "midgets". And she's not even that tall for crying out loud. In general, I'd like to see a little more evenly distributed empathy in society.
The title alone says it all. Their very identity as men is challenged if they aren't willing to do what mostly women choose not to.
